yesterday and today
didn't get to write yesterday.. >_< i guess i was too tired ... nothing much is happening today ... its mother's day and nanay isn't here ... yet. She'll be back this evening from vietnam (and carrying pasalubong, i hope
ice skating yesterday was really fun! my coach was all praises! sabi niya i manage to control my skates very well ... considering the fact that they are rental skates ^_^ tapos ang bilis ko daw matuto! i was all smiles! ^_^ (excuse my conceitedness, err, conceit for a while) ... she tested me already and i passed (of course bwahahha) ... so now i'm on level 3! oh, and another thing, my dad showed up at the rink. i was really surprised when i saw him ü he was supposed to be there for a bowling tournament or something with his friends from work, but it turned out he was in the wrong SM! so he skated with me instead ü i'm his coach for that day. after skating he enrolled me, and now i have skating lessons at 2pm every tues and thurs. i'm going to have a new coach, and we have the same palindrome name, anna. though hers was spelled with only one n. my old coach's (tara) schedule was full, so she handed
me instead to her sister (w/c is ana).
after skating my tatay treated me to dinner. we tried something new ... we ate what americans usually eat. you know, sandwiches. it was really good, and it was a way to make me eat vegetables. i'm hopeless when it comes to veggies, i just don't like them! but squeezed in a ham sandwich, it becomes bearable -and delicious- to eat.
we also dropped by national bookstore. i convinced him to buy a whole bunch of sweet valley books worth 20 each! (another plus to having my dad around). we bought 14 books, which, at 280 pesos, is equivalent to the price of 1 or 2 books.
back to the future, it's raining now, and i like the cool feeling it brings. makes me feel relaxed or something. there are also a bunch of books waiting to be read, and i think im going to grab one now.
well, till then ^_^
